Former star of Glee, Amber Riley, Has just been cast for role of Effie White in a West End Production of Dreamgirls. She is best known for her portrayal of Mercedes Jones on Glee. Dreamgirls producer, Sonia Friedman, had planned on starting production last year but was unable to do so since she could not find someone she thought was suitable for the Role of Effie. Hundreds of young women auditioned for the part but Riley killed it.
