Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his production team, hitRECord, have teamed together to create a series of short films that explore the relationship between tech and democracy. Levitt will donate his paycheck from his new movie "Snowden' in order to fund the project. Levitt is asking his audience to send in videos telling him how they personally relate technology and democracy.7 "I'd much rather hear a personal story, or something that's unique to you," Levitt said. The short films will be released before the 'Snowden' premiere in May.
