. Elizabeth Banks has been cast to play the famous villain in Dean Israelite's upcoming big-screen Power Rangers adaptation. The actress confirmed the news on Twitter, using Repulsa's classic intro phrase. She wrote "After 10,000 years, I'm free! It's time to conquer Earth." The new Power Rangers will star a slew of relative newcomers including Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger), Becky G. (Yellow Ranger), Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger) and Ludi Lin (Black Ranger).
