Lady Gaga will perform a tribute to David Bowie at the 2016 Grammy Awards. The Grammys announced this morning that she'll be performing at the ceremony in his honor. "We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year's show, but when David passed ? almost in a single moment ? we knew we had to change direction," Grammys executive producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement. Lady Gaga talked about Bowie's influence on her work on The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Show Chatter podcast in an interview published just two before his death on January 10.
