VIDEO : Composer and Horror Filmmaker John Carpenter is Making New Music

Filmmaker and composer John Carpenter, who directed and scored Halloween, Escape From New York and Assault on Precinct 13, is set to debut new music this spring. The new album, titled, Lost Themes II is due out April 15th.
The new record will find Carpenter playing alongside his son, Cody, and his godson, Daniel Davies. Carpenter has hinted that the new album will feature more electric and acoustic guitar than the first Lost Themes. He'll also be appearing at a number of festival appearances in Europe, but will announce U.S. dates in the near future.
