Since Zayn Malik left One Direction, he's been pretty quiet his reasonings. However in an interview the former band member has admitted it: "I never really wanted to be there. I just gave it a go because it was there at the time" he continued on to say " when I realized the direction we were going in with the music, I instantly realized it wasn?t for me. " Zayn even admits it was a shock for his bandmates too. He said "When I was leaving the band, they didn?t want me to leave, but they couldn?t talk me out of it at that point
