Aretha Franklin is helping Flint residents during the city's water crisis by arranging to provide nightly rooms for 25 to 50 people at a hotel along with food and beverage. Franklin said to radio station WDIV, "Detroiters usually come to the aid of Detroiters -- and Flint is certainly regarded as Detroit. Hang in there." Franklin grew up in Detroit and was recently spotted at the Kennedy Center Honors singing a show-stopping rendition of "A Natural Woman." Sean "Diddy" Combs and Mark Wahlberg are also aiding Flint residents by donating 1 million bottles of water.
