VIDEO : Miley Cyrus to Star in Amazon Series From Woody Allen

Deadline has reported that Woody Allen's still-untitled Amazon series has just found main cast, with none other than Miley Cyrus leading the way. Cyrus will reportedly star alongside Elaine May and Allen himself in the six half-hour episode series, which will be set in the 1960s. The series, Allen's first journey into television, will be written and directed by the prolific filmmaker. Roy Price, vice president of Amazon Studios, said after the series was announced, "From Annie Hall to Blue Jasmine, Woody has been at the creative forefront of American cinema and we couldn't be more excited to premiere his first TV series exclusively on Prime Instant Video next year."
