According to the show's producer, outrage over the lack of diversity among nominees at the Oscars will not keep Chris Rock from his hosting duties. While at the 47th NAACP Image Awards Nominee Luncheon on Saturday, Academy Awards producer Reginald Hudlin explained that even though Rock finished writing his Oscars monologue a week ago, the #OscarsSoWhite outrage soon came to a head and the fifty-year-old comedian was forced to scrap his jokes and start working on a new script. According to Hudlin, Rock won't be steering away from the issue of a white-washed group of nominees and will instead dive right into the fire of the recent controversy.
