According to TMZ, Newly engaged couple Mariah Carey and James Packer are still both married to other people. According to the website?s sources, divorce proceedings between Mariah and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Nick Cannon, were stalled over the summer as a result of Nick trying to get the upper hand, financially. However, now that the estranged couple are on better terms, the divorce appears to be well on its way to being finalized. Meanwhile, Mimi?s billionaire fiance, James, is technically still married to wife Erica Packer. While the couple separated back in 2013, Australia?s laws are the reason the process of divorce is taking so long.
