Smith looks nothing like the real-life doctor he?s playing, and his attempt to copy a Nigerian accent could have been seen as opportunistic. However, Smith embodies Doctor Bennet Omalu, and you never question the authenticity or integrity of his performances. Though Smith has devoted most of his career to action movies, it is in films like Concussion and Ali that he really proves his worth as an actor.
