HBO is adding another Judd Apatow comedy to its roster. The premium cable network has handed out a series pickup to Crashing, executive produced by Apatow and starring Pete Holmes, the semi-autobiographical comedy stars former TBS late-night host Holmes as a sweet, wholesome comedian who stays on the couches of New York's finest comedians after his wife leaves him. It marked the first pilot directing job for Girls producer Apatow, who also has Netflix comedy Love in the works. Holmes penned the script and exec produces alongside Apatow.
