The news of Alan Rickman?s death hit the Internet Thursday morning, causing an out-pouring of grief from long time fans of the actor. He was sixty-nine years old. According to Rickman?s agent, he died of cancer. Rickman?s work has had such a huge impact on so many generations. From Die Hard, to Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, to his most loved (or hated, by some) role as Severus Snape in Harry Potter. A man who knew how to play a great bad guy, but also could be deceivingly charming in roles like Truly Madly Deeply and even as the Voice of God, Metatron in Dogma.
