Alan Rickman died Jan. 14, leaving behind a long career filled with many memorable roles. But most fans probably know Rickman best for playing Professor Snape in all eight Harry Potter movies. Snape's incredible journey from strict taskmaster to secret hero has the power to choke up even the most stoic of Muggles. Given Rickman's passing, it's a good time to remember how much he taught us as our Potions Master. Snape always gave the best compliments even if most of them were about Lily Potter.
