The Guardian reports, that British actor, Alan Rickman has died. He was 69 years old.
The actor?s death was confirmed by his family on Thursday. He had been suffering from cancer.
Rickman was easily recognised as Harry Potter?s Professor Snape. Some of his other film well-known roles include Die Hard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Love, Actually.
English comedian and writer, Stephen Fry, took to social media shortly after the news first broke to share his condolences.
Fry tweeted: "What desperately sad news about Alan Rickman. A man of such talent, wicked charm & stunning screen & stage presence. He'll be sorely missed."
