VIDEO : Leonardo DiCaprio Doesn't Have Oscar Gold on the Brain During Filming

Despite the countless memes making light of the oversight of his having not receiving Oscar, Leonardo DiCaprio, who has won three Golden Globe Awards for his work, says he doesn't pine for an award when accepting a role. The 41-year-old actor has been nominated four times for an Academy Award for his acting roles in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," "The Aviator," "Blood Diamond" and "The Wolf of Wall Street" and is considered a shoo-in to pick up the coveted Best Actor top prize for playing the role of American frontiersman and fur trapper Hugh Glass in Alejandro González Iñárritu's "The Revenant." The star revealed: "It (Oscar success) is never ever what I'm thinking about when I'm making movies. There's nothing I've done for the specific reason of getting an award. Every single time you just go in there trying to bat a thousand, trying to give it your all." In the survival epic film, DiCaprio was apparently forced to eat raw bison liver on camera, which he described as a "living hell."
