There?s been a lot of talk about prequels and character resurrections around Game of Thrones recently, much of it surrounding the character of Ned Stark, patriarch of the Starks of Winterfell and a key figure in Robert?s Rebellion. Unfortunately for fans of the character, Ned lost his end at the end of Season 1, but fans have held onto the hope that actor Sean Bean might one day be given the opportunity to return to the character, even if it was just for a flashback scene.
