President Barack Obama and Kendrick Lamar met at the White House to discuss the importance of mentorship.
Lamar said "I sat down with President Barack Obama and shared the same views. Topics concerning the inner cities, the problem the solutions and furthermore embracing the youth, both being aware that mentoring saves lives."
Lamar also shared that he doesn't know know where he would be if he hadn't had a mentor "telling me what's right and what's wrong" when he was a kid.
