After months of rumors and speculation, it?s finally official: Creed director Ryan Coogler will helm Marvel?s upcoming Black Panther movie. Prior to directing Creed, Coogler also wrote and directed the 2013 Sundance Film Festival hit Fruitvale Station. His take on Black Panther, which stars Chadwick Boseman, is scheduled to hit theaters in 2018, after the titular character is introduced in Captain America: Civil War this spring.
