During the 73rd annual Golden Globe awards, Eva Longoria and America Ferrara stole the show when they joked about what it's like to be Latina in Hollywood. The moment came right after a lackluster joke from host Ricky Gervais about Donald Trump wanting to deport the actresses--regardless of their actual nationalities. Unfortunately, MTV Australia then tried to ride Gervais? coattails. As Longoria and Ferrara presented an award, MTV Australia sent out an extremely offensive tweet about needing subtitles to understand the Mexican-American actresses. However, following major backlash for the racist undertones, they deleted the tweet immediately. MTV Australia then tweeted, 'We'll leave the humor to Ricky Gervais." Or, as Celebuzz writes, maybe they just should leave the humor to Longoria and Ferrera, instead.
