VIDEO : David Bowie's Last Music Video Takes on New Meaning in the Wake of His Death

Celebrity in this news:

Only a couple of days before passing away Sunday, David Bowie released his final music video for "Lazarus" off his 25th studio album, Blackstar. A music video that now takes on new meaning in the wake of his death.
In the video Bowie is seen lying in a hospital bed with bandages covering his eyes. As he sings he starts to levitate and shake as if he were entering the afterlife. The lyrics are also filled with imagery and death.
"Look up here/ I'm in heaven/ I've got scars that can't be seen," he sings. "This way or no way / You know, I'll be free."
Record producer Tony Visconti, who has worked with Bowie for decades, took to Facebook to mourn the loss of his dear friend. "He always did what he wanted to do. And he wanted to do it his way and he wanted to do it the best way. His death was no different from his life - a work of Art," he wrote. "He made Blackstar for us, his parting gift.
"I knew for a year this was the way it would be. I wasn't, however, prepared for it. He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us. For now, it is appropriate to cry."
