According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has enlisted comedian Bill Hader to write, direct, executive produce and star in 'Barry,' a comedy about a lonely ex-Marine who works as a low-rent hitman in the Midwest. The SNL alum and Trainwreck co-star will partner with Alec Berg of Silicon Valley and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and represents yet another star vehicle for HBO comedy. Hader will join Whitney Cummings' 'Are Men Necessary,' Lena Dunham's 'Max,' and an as-of-yet untitled Sarah Silverman vehicle on what's sure to be an impressive roster of new comedies for the cable network.
