With the February release of Tim Miller's "Deadpool," 20th Century Fox intends on expanding the X-Men Cinematic Universe into even more summer blockbusters that have gained momentum in the wake of the critical and commercial success of 2014's "X-Men: Days of Future Past." This spring, the studio will release a direct sequel, "X-Men: Apocalypse," and a third "Wolverine" solo vehicle for Hugh Jackman, and are in the works of creating a "Gambit" solo film in 2017 as well as a "New Mutants" movie currently. Kick-Ass 2 writer and director Jeff Wadlow is also developing a script based on the militant strike team "X-Force," and comic book artist Rob Liefeld wants actor Jon Hamm to play team leader Cable in the X-Force movie. On Sunday, Hamm won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama for playing the character Don Draper on the last season of "Mad Men" on AMC. Cable is the leader of X-Force and is the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor, who is Jean Grey?s clone. The X-Force leader made his first appearance in The New Mutants, as a mysterious mercenary.
