Steve Carell is nominated for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) for his portrayal of Mark Baum in The Big Short and has joked he might finally get his wife's "approval" if he wins.
Speaking in a joint interview with his wife, he quipped: "If I win, I might finally gain my wife's love and approval."
Whilst Nancy joked back: "Well you already won one, so that was good for 10 years. But it's worn off.
