A month ago, Variety reported that Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett (The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings) is in talks for a leading role in Thor: Ragnarok. Since then, there has been no confirmation that a deal is in place.
While attending the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala this past weekend, Blanchett was asked about rumors of her possible involvement with Thor: Ragnarok. "I would love that," she told USA Today. "I?d love to get fit and punch people.
