Christina Aguilera and her fiance Matthew Rutler embraced each other in the great outdoors in a grand display of affection.
From the looks of a photo the singer shared on her Instagram account, it appears Aguilera leapt into the arms of her soon-to-be husband in the pouring rain, flicking her feet up in the process as she held on tightly around Rutler's neck.
The photo seem to recreate the iconic scene from Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdam's 2004 romance in The Notebook.
As poor country boy Noah Calhoun and sophisticated city lady Allie Hamilton, the former lovers famously reunite years after they end their teenage summer romance only to (spoiler alert!) ferociously make out in the rain.
Much like the silver screen moment, it's clear sparks are exploding between these real-life lovebirds.
