John Stamos, Uncle Jesse on Full House and its sequel series Fuller House, has been making the rounds discussing the return of the Tanners and revealed to Andy Cohen that when Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen passed on reprising the role of Michelle Tanner, they turned to their Avengers star sister. Stamos told Cohen on his SiriusXM talk show RadioAndy, "We talked to her agent and her agent was like, 'Come on she's not going to do that,' but we did call her agent."
