On New Year?s Eve, Star Wars: The Force Awakens pulled in an estimated $22.9 million at the domestic box office to bring its total domestic box office to $651.9 million. In just two weeks, Star Wars: The Force Awakens almost became the highest grossing movie of 2015 (and it might still accomplish that feat once final numbers are released).
