Irish singer Gavin James was left red-faced while attending the 2015 Oscar Wilde Awards, after unwittingly bad-mouthing honoree Carrie Fisher to her Star Wars co-star Mark Hamill. James was invited to perform at February?s event, hosted by director J.J. Abrams at the headquarters of his Bad Robot production company in Santa Monica, California, but he chose the wrong person to complain to after tiring of Fisher?s lengthy acceptance speech. Gavin confessed to the Irish Sun that he had no idea who 59-year-old Fisher was. After Fisher's speech, he went to the restroom and complained to the "old guy" next to him in the urinals. There, he used Irish slang to describe Fisher as a crazy, effing idiot. A friend later told James that he'd been dissing Princess Leia to Luke Skywalker--played by Mark Hamill! Oops!
