Starting with the ball lighting and raising at 6 p.m. Eastern Time, you can tune into New Year's Eve festivities in Times Square without having to weather the cold or watch commercials. A commercial-free webcast will stream live online with special performances by Grammy nominee Jessie J and Daya. Mashable reports several TV channels will also be broadcasting the ball drop, bookended with banter between celebrity hosts. In addition to the live stream, you can also watch the celebrations on TV and on the official Times Square Ball app available in the App Store and on Google Play.
