VIDEO : Will 'The Expanse' Get Second Season?

Syfy is renewing futuristic series 'The Expanse', giving it a 13-episode second season set to air in early 2017. The series is financed and produced by Alcon Television group. Set 200 years in the future, the series follows the search for a missing woman that brings together hardened detective Thomas Jane and rogue ship's captain Steven Strait. Based on the New York Times best-selling book series of the same name, 'The Expanse' is currently in the middle of its 10-episode first season.
