Bill Cosby arrived at court in Pennsylvania for his arraignment after he was charged with aggravated indecent assault on Wednesday morning,. He will remain free on $1 million bail pending trial.
The de facto perp walk was broadcast on live television.
Cosby will be fingerprinted at a police station near the Elkins Park courtroom. He did not have to enter a plea, and his next court hearing is Jan. 14.
A Pennsylvania prosecutor announced Wednesday morning, Bill Cosby has been charged with aggravated indecent assault, a second-degree felony, in relation to a 2004 alleged sexual assault on former Temple University worker Andrea Constand.
Montgomery County District Attorney-elect Kevin Steele said,
"Today, after examination of all the evidence, we are able to seek justice on behalf of the victim." He called on others "with any information on similar incidents" to come forward.
