Lately, there has been many claimed malfunctions of the hoverboard with cases of them bursting into flames. While the cause of the fires are still unknown, consumer safety probes suggest the problem may lie with the lithium batteries or faulty plugs. Because of this, many airlines such as Virgin Australia have banned the dangerous gadget in their airlines.
