Sacha Baron Cohen and actress Isla Fisher have donated £670,000 (a million dollars) to two different charities helping Syria.
The married couple gave half of the money (£335,000 or $500,000) to Save The Children, to help pay for measles vaccinations for children in the country, and the other half to the International Rescue Committee (IRC), which will help towards education, health care, shelter and sanitation for refugees in Syria and nearby. The IRC is run by former UK foreign secretary David Miliband.
Save The Children are aiming to vaccinate 250,000 children from a potential measles outbreak in Northern Syria.
Both charities expressed their gratitude at the donations. Miliband said that "Sacha and Isla's donation is a great expression of humanity, and a challenge to do more for the most vulnerable."
