Melissa McCarthy has a fear of guns. In discussing her role as a CIA operative in Spy, she stated: "I had trained with guns for The Heat as well, but I'm afraid of guns. "I don't ever want to look like I don't know how to hold a gun because nobody gets to do that job if they don't know what they're doing." The 45-year-old actress had to work with firearms in both The Heat and Spy but admits she wasn't "super-comfortable" shooting any scenes with them. And Melissa admits it was tough to look "cool" while shooting action scenes because they are so taxing, but she insists that's part of the "fun".
