As other bands and performers were showering fans with Christmas cheer, Janet Jackson unfortunately had a lump of coal to deliver: The singer was forced to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour effective immediately after doctors recommended that she undergo an unspecified surgery. Jackson's next Unbreakable concert was set for January 9th in Denver, Colorado, which itself was a rescheduled performance. "Every date will be rescheduled," Jackson promised in her statement. The upcoming North American leg of the Unbreakable World Tour spanned 30 dates and was scheduled to conclude March 9th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
