Hugh Jackman has released a new rendering of his X-Men character with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.
The image, released with a link to the ?Trailer's Eve? TV spot, has Deadpool in a Santa hat, apparently pole-dancing on Wolverine's middle claw. Fans have been hoping for a Wolverine cameo in Deadpool. Could this be a clue?
Based upon Marvel Comics? most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Hugh Jackman is gearing up for his final outing as Wolverine, in the character's third solo movie.
