Apparently not everyone loved Mortdecai.
Forbes writes, Johnny Depp is 2015's most overpaid actor. The money-minded magazine says that the three-time Oscar nominee's most recent wide-release movies ? Mortdecai and Transcendence ? earned a mere $1.20 for every dollar Depp was paid to star in said movies.
It's a fairly staggering figure, especially considering the number associated with the list's runner-up: Denzel Washington, whom Forbes says returned $6.50 for every $1 he was paid for his most recent work. Paltry, to be sure ? but not nearly as low as Depp's.
Both figures are even more stunning, though, when compared to the name atop Forbes' list of most valuable actors: Chris Evans, whose films apparently returned $181.80 for every dollar he was paid.
