In an interview with Yahoo!, Mark Ruffalo talked about his career and greatly varying acting experiences this year. He also looked at the future of the Hulk in his own, standalone film, and why that hasn't happened yet. Referencing Marvel Studios and Universal Pictures, the actor said, "I think they've been working on it. Marvel and Universal famously don't get along very well, and so that's working against us, definitely." Ruffalo added, "I know for a fact that everyone is holding out hope that one day we can do it. But the nature of the relationship right now, it's a little prohibitive."
