Mark Wahlberg will be returning to the Transformers franchise for its fifth installment.
Wahlberg confirmed to Cinepop , at the premiere of his new comedy, Daddy's Home, starring himself, Will Ferrell, that he will be back for Transformers 5.
The movie is set for release in 2017 and has hired a pool of writers, including The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman,Avengers and Incredible Hulk writer, Zak Penn, and Iron Man's Matt Holloway and Art Marcum.
Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg will be the executive producers for the movie.
An exact release date has not yet been announced.
