Adele is to perform at Duchess Catherine's birthday party. The British royal is planning an intimate celebration when she turns 34 next month and was keen to have her favourite singer provide the entertainment. A source said: "Kate has been a huge fan of Adele since her first album, 19, and decided to reach out to her after 25 was released. "Kate isn't into big birthdays but is having a small soiree for close family and friends and is desperate to have Adele sing an acoustic version of her new material, plus a few of her old hits.'
