According to Variety, Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett is in talks for a leading role in Thor: Ragnarok. Blanchett has a whole slew of film roles that she is known for. The 46-year-old actress is best known for playing Galadriel in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogies and the wicked stepmother in Disney's live-action Cinderella movie. Thor 3 pre-production in Australia will begin in January of 2016 and filming is set to begin in June of 2016.
