For Jessica Jones' enthralling supervillain Kilgrave , it's the one thing he can't have: Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) herself. Since no one else in the world had ever before been able to refuse him, Jessica's rejection sent Kilgrave on an obsessive mission to once again own her. Their cat-and-mouse game culminated in the season one finale, when Jessica was finally able to end it once and for all by snapping Kilgrave's neck.
