With his new band DNCE, Joe Jonas and crew just want to have a good time. Jonas told Mashable Wednesday, "We don't take ourselves too seriously. The music is what we take seriously." Jonas added that he also likes to put a "wacky spin" on the band's lyrics. Case in point: their single "Cake by the Ocean," which was inspired by their Swedish producer misremembering the name of the cocktail Sex on the Beach. Jonas says the band is hoping to release its debut album in the spring and they will also play Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 11 as part of the Jingle Ball tour, which fans can watch live online.
