Blanchett has a whole slew of film roles that she is known for. In the art-house scene, she's well-known for her roles in Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine, Shekhar Kapur's 1998 film Elizabeth, and the recently released lesbian-drama Carol. Thor 3 pre-production in Australia will begin in January of 2016 and filming is set to begin in June of 2016. Thor: Ragnarok will star Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk).
