Nominations for the 73rd Golden Globe Awards were announced on Thursday, Dec. 10, and international electro-pop superstar Lady Gaga, known for popular hits like "Paparazzi" and "Bad Romance," can now add Golden Globe nominee to her list of accomplishments: The actress-musician earned her first-ever Golden Globe nomination for the role of the nefarious vampiric fashionista Countess Elizabeth on the FX horror-drama anthology series, "American Horror Story: Hotel." In a statement where she thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as well as the cast and crew of the hit TV show, the entertainer wrote: ?I am too excited for words at this recognition for my work!? she said. ?I dreamed endlessly of being in television & film.
