Madonna who had just finished her show in Paris Wednesday evening, tweeted to her fans about an surprise performance at place de la republique in honor of the victims of the recent terrorist attacks. Accompanied by a guitarist and her son, she performed songs including John Lennon's "Imagine." The iconic statue at Republique, transformed into an informal memorial since the attacks, piled with flowers and candles.
