VIDEO : Idris Elba May Star In the Film Adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series

Idris Elba is the frontrunner to land the starring role of Roland Deschain in the film adaptation of Stephen King's seminal work The Dark Tower series.
According to Deadline, the movie will be directed by Nikolaj Arcel. is Sony Pictures and Media Rights Capital are still in negotiations with Matthew McConaughey to play the villainous Walter Padick, aka the Man in Black.
The Dark Tower is expected to be the first of a series of films based on the book series.
