Taylor Swift has once again been named Billboard?s Artist of the Year. Swift was dubbed the honor in 2009 back when she was a bonafide country music girl and her second record Fearless spent 11 nonconsecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200. Six years later, she?s nabbed the title again but this time as a pop star. She?s thus the second lady to be named Top Artist twice, following in Queen Adele?s footsteps. 1989 was invariably the most successful album this year, becoming only the fifth album to spend its first year in the weekly Billboard 200?s top 10.
