The past year has been turbulent for Black Sabbath fans: In October, one year after announcing plans to record a second comeback LP, the metal pioneers scrapped the idea, choosing to focus on their lengthy farewell tour dubbed "The End." Now, frontman Ozzy Osbourne has explained his rationale for the album cancelation, telling Australian site news.com.au, "People aren't really interested in hearing new stuff." Elaborating on "the end of Sabbath," Osbourne also blamed time constraints: "If we were to do an album before the tour ? it would take three or four years to complete the album," he said.
